Sonia is a young social worker at a neighborhood center. She has devoted her life to helping people in the lower-income community and is passionate about seeing their lives improved.

She meets a young man named Tommy who has been in and out of the local court system for various crimes over the past year. He’s always seem confident but Sonia knows something isn’t quite right. She meets with Tommy regularly to check in on his progress and eventually learns that he has been living in poverty since his mother abandoned him at a young age and he’s been desperate to make money for food and bills ever since.

Sonia takes it upon herself to help Tommy find a job and get back on his feet. She reaches out to various members of her community to create job opportunities for Tommy, such as doing odd jobs or working part-time at a local grocery store. He begins making steady money and slowly makes progress in getting his life back …

Lilly is a young girl who lives with her father, and what she misses most in the world is her mother. Her mother past away when Lilly was only five years old, leaving her father to take on the role of both parents.

Lilly’s father strives to provide the best for his daughter, but struggles on his own to keep up with work and family life. He often sees things that remind him of Lilly’s mother or finds himself wishing he could talk to her during difficult times.

No matter what one’s age may be, losing a mother is always an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking experience. Children who are unfortunate enough to grow up without a mother in their life miss out on the unconditional love, guidance and support that only a mother can offer. They often struggle with feelings of loneliness, rejection, and grief during their formative years that can later manifest into many difficult feelings throughout adulthood such as depression or anxiety. As we all strive to make this world a better place for everyone, let us also remember those appearing in dark times due to the loss of their mother’s tears and love. It is important to ensure that no child has to go through life without experiencing the beautiful bond between mother and child.

When she left

I was on my way to the hospital with my parents when I got the call that my grandmother was in her death throes. I remember feeling helpless and hating myself for not being at her side.

When I arrived, the place was overflowing with family members all weeping and embracing each other. Although grief filled the room, it also had a special magnificence that words can’t aptly describes. It was heart-wrenching to watch my beloved grandmother suffer and failing to be saved but amid it all, we managed to console each other in our grief.

After what seemed like an eternity, she gasped a last breath and closed her eyes forever. No amount of crying or begging could keep her alive any longer. Time seemed to stand still as we process what had just happened. We all felt a deep emptiness that could never quite filled.

The days passed by but I still felt empty inside, unable to find comfort from anyone or anything.

Riya and my love story

It was a typical college day when I first met Riya. We were both attending the same lecture and I noticed her immediately. She had a captivating smile and an infectious energy that drew me in. Little did I know then, that this chance meeting would lead to a beautiful love story between us.

We eventually became really close friends and started spending more time together. We shared our hopes, dreams, fears, and secrets with each other like no one else could understand us better than we understood ourselves. Our date showed me the wonders of having someone special who is not only your companion but also a source of pure joy.

We did everything together, sharing secrets and helping each other through the struggles of being a student. She was always my go-to person, and I thought that our friendship would last forever.

However, as time passed by, Riya became heavily involved in her studies and career aspirations. Our conversations became less frequent and she had to attend fewer events with me. It felt like she was barely around anymore and I missed our time together more than anything else.

To make matters worse, Riya was going to leave for a job interview in another city soon after graduation. She asked me to join her but I couldn’t commit due to my own commitments and obligations back home. We both knew it was likely the last time we’d ever be together.

Now it was time for riya to move on and pursue a job. I drove her to the airport with lumps in my throat. We both knew this was it; our last goodbye. Tears in both of our eyes, riya kissed my forehead, wishing me all the best for my future life ahead.

Sad but determined, riya walked into the terminal, never looking back. I felt terribly lonely as she navigated through security checks. All i wanted was one more glance at riya but I knew this wasn’t an option anymore and that I must face the reality of being alone now without my beloved- riya.
